we should have donations than we could pay someone to put the sounds back on, put on NEW maps and get some of the plugins to work again. just my thoughts .....Buzzard Bate Bruno

I can't give the answer but I would guess that it has to do with the size of the pot that is already there. As I understand it, the way it is set up the money goes directly to the provider and is non-refundable.   This also locks us into that particular provider for an extended period of time.  Frankly I don't think anyone is particularly thrilled with our present provider, unless it has changed recently and I am unaware of it.  I suspect the feeling is that we don't really want to prepay them too much money.

I may be talking out of turn here but that is my reasonably educated guess.

Exactly what easy said is true. It goes beyond that to the mentality that we can just "pay somebody" to make the sounds work, etc. Xenon won't even extract a .dll for us anymore. I'm sick of arguing with them.
