any chance we can get the bots to use there teles ? i have played on some bot servers and the bots use the teles, that would just give us more challanges and give the bots a fair shake.

I think, by default, foxbot.cfg is set to
bot_can_use_teleporter on

Of course I don't know what the server is set to and I don't know whether they tested with teleports on and decided to turn off their use because of odd results.

If it is on then, short of rewriting the foxbot code, I don't think there is much we can do. It actually complicates pathing quite a bit as the bot code has to try to determine where the teleport pairs end up and whether a teleport can get them to a goal faster than not taking it and following the waypoints.
It can already be a little tricky to get the bots to behave as you would expect and some of the maps need a fair amount of futzing to overcome odd behavior. If they started taking teles it might require some restructuring of the waypointing. It would be interesting to see what the effect was though.

Yep, bot should be using tele's.. now I'm sure it's not fail safe and on some maps they don't. I'm pretty sure on 2fort they use the heck out of teles lol.

On the "newest" version of foxbot they use teles alot but we dont use the newest version. That version ironically, we trap them into spawn much easier...
