Yeah your right, no hurry at all.

We got to play high_flag and destroy_l last night. I thought high_flag was fun despite the expected issue of bots getting the flag. destroy was fun and has more potential of locking them in their base with engi's/sg's which is what i know always turns into a good time. Couple miscues here and there but i thought it went good anyways. I'm looking forward to getting to play some of the others.

by the way, if none of the maps i've waypointed get played or even put on the server i'm not gonna take any of it to heart. I have to admit i've rather enjoyed it. Very Happy

Requesting maps ski_gutter, kids_in_the_hood and smooth. CTF style
maps.
kids in the hood is a nice remake of murderball.
ski gutter is comparable in size to 2fort.

There are two maps in the pipeline before yours and we have decided to hold off a few weeks before doing more maps as there have been so many released recently. So, if omni gives them the go ahead, it will probably be a couple of months before they show up.

I spoke with tom on the server the other night and asked him if he thought evenflow would get played more if it was easier to get out of our base or press forward on offense. He said yes and suggested that the waypoints be kept much the same but that fewer reds come out of base and more hold back to protect flag.
If you are interested in testing this idea I have modified the waypoints to let the spawn location determine who leaves base and who doesn't . As the offensive reds are killed the bots will accumulate more in the red base, at least until someone goes in there and kills a lot of them. Hopefully this will make the game more fluid and allow us a better chance of setting up outside of the base.

The script for this remains the same.

In a couple of weeks I will continue with the next maps in the pipeline here:

Wompa if you are interested in doing either of these reply here and I will do the other.

Not sure if i've got the skills to pull off disasterzone. It's a big map with so many possible paths. I can give it a go, or i can try the other. do you have a preference?

How does it work with command point maps anyways? Does there need to be some kind of trigger once the point has been capped and everyone moves on to the next phase? letgoland looks pretty fun from a waypointing standpoint.

With a map in the letgo style you shouldn't have to do anything special. The forced respawn after a cap takes care of everything for you. Just go red and waypoint the defense for the first point. Then cap the point as blue and go red again to waypoint the second point. As the bots respawn they will simply pick up the nearest waypoint you set up in each spawn. Just make sure if there are any points at which the waypoints of one cap point can mingle with those of the next that you DON'T connect up the two sets of waypoints but this shouldn't happen much, if at all.

It sounds as if you would prefer letgo so I'll start working on disasterzone.

Whenever you can get to it. I've started disasterzone but I'm not in any hurry with it either.

I can't get any of the links for disasterzone_r2 to work. I did a quick google search, but those aren't working either. I'll do a more intensive search when I got a bit more time.

ok, wampa is working on letgo.

There are 3 maps left in the pipeline that we need yea or nay on.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Kids in the hood and smooth appear to be included in the default foxbot waypoints.

I'll work on ski gutter if it gets the go ahead.

Sure, ski_gutter looks pretty small. But it may be one of those fast past spam chaotic maps lol. Yeah if you up for it, I think it'll be a good one!

I have ski gutter ready but for some reason I am getting an uploaded file not valid error.
I removed an earlier file from my attachments list even though I am not near my half MB attachment limit but it made no difference. I tried uploading files I had previously uploaded as well and get the same error.

Any ideas?

If not I may send the file to you through your gmail account.

Sure, my email would work. Too bad we can't post them here also.

Maybe Money knows what's going on here, I'll hit him up later.
